Wyoming Bedroom Addition

Wyoming Bedroom Addition

Wyoming Bedroom Addition

It was time for this classic Wyoming home to grow up with its loving family. With the addition of their third child, they found the need for more bedroom space and wanted to ensure the home’s classic design was respected. During the construction of more living space was also a great time to add some architectural interest to the front of the home. With the home situated on a relatively small lot, there wasn’t much room to expand on the side, back or front of the house. To overcome this challenge, we designed an addition to the second floor that did not increase the footprint of the home. This design also allowed the new bedroom to be connected to the other bedrooms by the same hallway, keeping all the kids together.

A new front porch and a 2nd-floor dormer addition in an existing bedroom added just the right touch of architectural interest while respecting the home heritage. Materials were carefully selected to keep the home’s character intact. More space and improved curb appeal allowed this great family to stay in the neighborhood they love.
