TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN REMODEL

As an avid cook, our client wanted a new kitchen where functionality was a very high priority; it also needed to flow and connect well with the living area. To open up the space, we had to remove a structural wall, which required us to rework and increase the capacity of the steel beam in the basement. Once the structural details were solved, it was time to bring this space to life for our amateur chef.

The painted white cabinets are bright, and add more light to the space. The beautiful black granite countertops bring contrast to the kitchen and a great surface for our client to practice her culinary skills. We also added a built-in wine rack, a beverage refrigerator, and a wine cooler for a convenient drink station. With new double ovens and increased refrigeration capacity, the entertainment possibilities are endless. The backsplash is a unique stainless-steel tile that pulls together the hardware on the cabinets and the rest of the stainless-steel appliances and finishes. Oak hardwood floors bring color and warmth to an overall contemporary kitchen. The final result is an open floor plan with clean, contemporary lines that is ready to entertain family and friends.
