Glendale Modern Kitchen

Challenge: Create a sleek, modern kitchen in a traditional Evendale home. Challenge accepted. Walls were removed to open the kitchen up to the dining room and other living areas. With walls removed, a beam and post had to be installed to support the roof above. If you have to put in a post, why not make it a statement? We designed a stainless steel post that supports the structure above and adds to the sleek modern design.

The use of a column of art glass tile behind the range helps give the space height, while balancing the horizontal sweep of the large island.
